Welcome to the Lock-Eye Border Collie Chat Group. You aren't required to have a Lock-Eye dog to be a member. Join in and discuss training your Border Collie in any activity or how to keep them busy as pets. There are members who do Herding, Agility, Flyball, SAR, HRD, Assistance dogs, sledding and even Arson detection with their Border Collies. Please post an introduction and tell us all about your dog(s).
**I feel strongly that breeders do OFA and/or Penn Hip and CEA DNA testing on any dogs they breed. Because this is my Chat Group, it "implies" that I endorse a breeder or a litter of puppies that is mentioned, therefore I will require that any breeder on this list do the testing and only breed dogs that have passed prior to them being discussed. This is for the protection of the breed and unwary or uninformed buyers.
** New members will be on a temporary Moderated status to prevent Spam from getting through. You will be taken off the moderated status as soon as you post a few times. **Please do not post forwards unless they directly relate to a least animals! Different opinions are welcome as long as everyone has a respectful "tone" in their emails. Please try to limit your swearing as there are children on the list.
** Our Home page photo is Lock-Eye Rip (Legends Swizzle At Lock-Eye Lock-Eye Peck)owned by Greg Scott. Rip has a "class clown" personality and is always smiling. He will often entertain himself by tossing a ball and then pouncing on it, though he prefers to play squeaky ball with Dad. Rip is currently in training for agility competition, and is close to being ready to compete. Though he is a little shy, he loves people and almost every dog he's met. He and his sister Rush wrestle and chew on each other daily! Rip is about 21" tall and weighs 41 lbs.
