Dow AgroSciences India Pvt. Ltd., a premier multinational agrochemical company in India is looking for energetic and dynamic people to fill a
field based Product Technology Specialist position in its R & D department for South India to be based at Hyderabad
THE JOB INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
· Generate data on various new and existing Ag-Chem products in field conditions in various crops and validate the hypotheses.
· Identify new opportunities, propose new concepts for product and portfolio development
· Serve as the technical focal point for the region
· Liaise with Agricultural Universities/ICAR Centres /Private Institutions for getting the products tested and to avail their support.
· Serve as technology transfer resource to impart technical training to sales staff, dealers, distributors, farmers.
· Extend support to sales and marketing teams in market development and product promotional activities.
THE CANDIDATES:
· Should have a Ph.D or M.Sc in Weed Science/Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Entomology with 3-5 years of experience in product development. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
· Should have sound technical knowledge on various crop production and protection activities.
· Basic computer skills mandatory.
· Basic statistical knowledge
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Should be willing to travel extensively.
· Should have exemplary interpersonal skills
Candidates should be fluent in Telugu. Fluency with other South Indian regional languages will be an added advantage.
