This list is open to people in Alabama and elsewhere who love The American Pit Bull Terrier. We advocate the RESCUE, FOSTERING, and ADOPTION of the breed and we do not condone the breeding and selling of these dogs. We include all Pit Bulls, that is: American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and, of course, the mixes. Our goal is to create a gathering of decent and responsible Pit Bull lovers.

Our emphasis is on protecting these incredible dogs. We hope to cover many topics regarding the dogs we love. We will definitely include the fight against Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) in our state! We would like to hear from you on your everyday experiences with your dog(s), suggestions, wonderful finds, ideas for fun, in fact, anything that we could find useful or entertaining.

We will not tolerate any subject matter condoning dog fighting or hog/dog rodeos.

Do solicit help with fighting BSL in your geographical area.

This is not an advertising list, but you can discuss good trainers or training equipment, and resources.

If you join the list please introduce yourself and share with us your knowledge of and life with these wonderful animals.

You will be warned, and if you persist, banned for the following reasons:

1. Promoting dog fighting
2. Advertising puppies for sale or advertising breeders
3. Asking advice or discussing methods of breeding Pit Bulls
4. Trolling and flaming
5. Ad hominem (personal) attacks
6. Bad-mouthing any dog or dog breed (bad-mouthing PETA is encouraged)
7. Being a horse’s patoot
