I feel that there is a need for this type of rescue. Many times bird owners find themselves in a situation that they can not give their birds the homes that they need. Many times people find themselves in a situation where they find a pet bird and can not keep it, alot of these birds are turned loose because they can not be fed or taken care of. This is the reason that quaker parrots are outlawed in many states, they survival has made them a so called nusiance. Please if you find yourself in this situation contact this list. I feel like education to Pet Shop's would decress some of the birds that end up in rescue situations.Will also take list's of families for screening, you must have vet references.
