catsanddogs@... (catsanddogs @ maxfund.org) It is nice to be rescued, to know you won't die at a shelter. but it's almost just as bad to spend ELEVEN years without a home to call your home, like Moxy. She loves other cats, but can be shy w/ people. She was found under a house, adopted, then returned, prolly cuz of her shy nature. She doesn't ask for much. Just some SUNSHINE and 3 hots & a cot. if you cannot see moxy's pics/read her story, please go here: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=12323399 and/or here: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=4541991 ![]() ![]() Hi, I'm Moxy. I was originally found as a stray living under a house. I was brought to MaxFund and adopted, but I was returned in 1997. I don't know why -- it's probably because I am a shy and timid girl. I have been here ever since. While I like having a warm place to sleep and food every day, it would be nice to live in a home and have someone care about me. I've never had anyone care about me. I get along fine with other cats. In fact, I used to snuggle with two cats who were also long-time residents. But they got lucky and got to go to a foster home. While I am very happy for them, I do miss them and am sad that I am now alone. I will likely never be a snuggle cat. I am a little distrustful of people for that. But I am really low maintenance. My expectations are really low; I just need a warm place to sleep and food. You know what would be great too? Sun!! I have been in a shelter for over ten years, and I miss the sun. Does your home have a window or sunshine? If so, I'd love that. Because I am good with other cats, maybe I can be the low maintenance kitty that just lives at your house and keeps your existing cat company. What do you think? Will you come rescue me and give me a chance? Isn't 10+ years long enough to wait for a home? I think so. Thank you. NO DOGS! NO KIDS! This pet is up to date with routine
shots.
