We are renovating our current shelter, and will also be constructing a new building addition. Our dogs will have to be shuffled back and forth between the old building and the new building addition. While the old part is being worked on, the dogs will have to be housed in the new area which will be much smaller than the area they have now. Basically, what it boils down to is this: there will be much less room for dogs to stay in the new part while the old part is being repaired, which in turn means that more than likely lots of dogs will be euthanized during that time for lack of space. We have a big dog yard that we could keep them, but we can't just let them run there all day and all night. Inevitably, some would dig out and escape. But if we had some chain link pens to set up there, that would be housing enough for them until we could get them back in the shelter. Anyone near Lawrenceburg Kentucky who has any dog pens, please contact me.
Thanks!
