This family has been trying to do the best they can and have borrowed when their own funds ran out. Tobigo just needs a little more help to get her through this...Just $5 and an share of the link make a huge difference.

About this Project

I am a 35 yr old sigle mom w/ 3 young daughters. I also have unfortunately been diagnosed w/ severe psoriatic arthitis, depression, and anxiety.I recieve social security disability for my disease so my funds are severely limited. My Therapy cat Tobigo has recently become very ill w/ a bowel obstruction.I have been able to borrow from my family and a friend, $700 which covers the last few days of vet bills for exams, xrays, and testing.Unfortunately, my vet informed me that Tobi will need to see a veterinary specialist for an ultra sound and possible emergency surgery. I have exhausted all resources and my vet says the ultrasound alone will run around $400 and I have no idea what surgery will cost but I am sure it is more than the ultrasound. My daughters and I will be devastated if Tobi passes away due to our financial situation. Please Help Us Save Tobi's Life.
$50 - Heart's of Gold We would love to send you updates and pictures of Tobi and our family.I am positive my 5 yr old twins Abigail and Bella and their 6 yr old big sis Madeline will love to send Thank You cards, as will I.

Do a search on Amazon for a book called Rescue Matters - it is a great resource and guide for anyone wanting to start their own rescue!

Lisa--Bless you and your intentions! Sketch out on paper an "ideal dream
plan"--everything your imagination can envision--to give yourself a framework.

You will need to check with your local animal control people to learn local
regulations, and see what Rescues are in your area to network, advise and
mentor. The Shelter/Rescue link on the homepage for www.petfinder.com is a
handy place to start. You'll eventually want to post your adoptables on that
site, and reading over their requirements for posting will give you a LOT of
information.

The PETFINDER Foundation offers periodic 1-day networking seminars around the
country to help rescues plan, market & fund-raise. Find one you can attend--$20
for the day includes lunch.

Also, look at the petfinder postings and print out several of the adoption forms
from different Rescues to get ideas for creating your own. You'll need to create
business cards and forms with your Rescue name and logo for Applications,
Transfer/Surrender, and Adoption Contracts, so think carefully about a name.
Your email is very cute--might want to come up with one more
Rescue/Rehoming-oriented--OR--perhaps you are wanting to create a forever home
Sanctuary instead of an adoption operation--or both!

A local Mentor is best, but feel free to call my cell if you like.

Hey Animal Lovers!!

We have gotten approval to adopt a dog but because he was hit by a car n
seriously injured and now has a long scar down his back they require us to fence
in our yard!

Our neighbors on either side have fencing so we need just about 70' total. We
have posts.

So, if you or anyone you know, who might know someone else, please pass this on.

Anything would be helpful ~ fencing, ties, gates, etc. would be so appreciated.

to see the dog please visit ~ www.ssasi.org ~ his name is Dobbie

I have a 6 month old kitten that I had been treating for ear mites, now her ear
is swelling and causing her eye to swell, I called my vet and he needs to see
her, however, I just lost my job on Wednesday, so I have no funds, I have a job
interview on Monday, so I should be working soon put wont have a check for about
3 weeks. I need help to get her looked at, I called PAWS and of course only got
an answering machine, they are supposed to send me info, but I am scared that
may take to long. It shouldn't cost more than $100.00. I can give you the
name, address, and phone number of my vet if your able to help. Vet visit is
37.00, antibotics are going to be anywhere from 30.00 on down. But if he has to
knock her out and lance the swollen area, that would cost more. Please if
someone has the heart, please help. Thank you Tamara Brule, Wi

A fellow hiker & I found this dog late on Sunday, Set. 4th at a gas station on
the way back to Atlanta after hiking in Tennessee. He was trying to jump in
people's cars & when they would not let him in he would run down the highway
after their car. The attendant at the gas station said he had been there most of
the day & she had never seen the dog before. I knew he would get hit by a car,
not to mention people were chasing him. He is super sweet, but I cannot keep him
as I already have a dog & cats, & I do not have the funds to take care of
another animal. In addition he tries to chase my cats. I have set up a chip-in
to try to get him fully vetted in the hope a rescue or individual will be more
likely to take him if they do not have to invest $ in him. Please help me help
Blue so he can find a home! Click below to log into his chip-in page. If you
cannot contribute, please forward to someone who may be able to. Every $5 helps
this sweet boy!

Can you take them please?  They don't want to go to the shelter where they will certainly die!  I have pictures.  Atlanta, GA area.
There are also 3 kittens, fully vetted, born approx. May 15, 2011 who need placement.  They are tame (were born to a feral mom) and are also good with dogs.  There's a black female, black male, and brown tabby male (all short hair).  Thanks

vaccinated because they were under 3lbs however the boys are all neutered. If
your located in western pa (im 30 min from pgh) and interested please contact
me. The shelter i volunteer at is over capacity and cant take them, and i have
called 4 others with no luck.

I live in Waseca, MN and have several pet rats. I need a good sized one level
cage (an old guinea pig cage would be great). It needs to be big enough to hold
2 adult male rats that are really good friends. I currently have them in a multi
level cage, but one of them is loosing the use of his back legs and will
probably eventually end up being paralyzed (it's called rear end degeneration
and sometimes happens to pet rats as they get older), so he won't be able to
climb ramps very much longer. I'm on a limited income and can't afford very
much but can pick up if within a reasonable distance.

Hello Group;
I know this is off topic but I need help to help animals and their caretakers and it’s such an easy way.
As some of you may know I run a program called PetCouponsCentral, this program has been in existence since May of 2010 and has helped hundreds and hundreds of individuals and groups. We serve individual, shelters, rescues, feral cat colony caretakers and pet foster parents.
This program supplies any pet related coupons to those who are having a hard time feeding and caring for their animals in these very hard times. It’s a simple program and you can help me continue helping by clipping any pet related coupons and sending them to me.
Since the beginning of this year we have given out 10,927 coupons to the recipients of the program. We couldn’t do this without our “Clippers”
Please, Please join us in helping others keeping their animals, it could mean that the animal stays with the owner or having to go to a shelter. As we all know there are many many animals being turned in by owners because they can’t afford their care.
Visit our website and read more about us www.petcouponsprogram.com to see what we do and become one of our “Clippers” it’s easy and can be done at your convenience. We have some folks who send in weekly other bi-weekly, others monthly,  it doesn’t matter as long as you clip and send.
A “clipper” can also receive coupons, so if you need help that’s fine and if you can you can also “clip”
If you know of anyone needing help please refer them to the website or just write to me at this address. There are no requirements just the need.
I hope you can help, the animals need you and so do the owners.
Tell others about the program please, it’s important we get the word out so that others can be helped.
Mary Rogers, Director

I volunteer for a local shelter who recently rescued 2 horses. Typically they do
not have horses on site and we are trying to make accomodations for them as fall
is coming. Does anyone have a run in shed that is needed to be removed from
their property? Or can donate a kit so we can have one built? Any ideas or help
would be great.
