2012 ABA Book Club/Mentoring meeting agenda.

This year instead of selecting one book and asking everyone to purchase that one
book, we are going to recommend that you purchase at least one of the following
recommended books:

1) Honey Bees and Beekeeping: A Year in the Life of an Apiary, 3rd Edition –

2) The Beekeeper's Handbook, 4th Edition – Diana Sammataro and Alphonse
Avitabile (2011)
3) First Lessons in Beekeeping – Keith Delaplane (2007)
4) Backyard Beekeeping (Revised), Weeks Ringle – Kim Flottum (2010)
5) Honey Bee Biology and Beekeeping – Dewey Caron (2000)
6) Storey's Guide to Keeping Honey Bees – Malcolm Sandford and Richard Bonney
(2011)

The discussions each month will focus on a topic listed below and covered by
these books. The emphasis of the meetings will be what local beekeepers have
found to work and not work in North Florida. We will try to provide the chapters
to read for each of these books prior to the meeting.

• Meetings will be the LAST Tuesday of the Month
• Time will be 7:00PM
• Location will be Panera Bread,101 N Blairstone Rd, # 101, Tallahassee,
FL‎ (off Park Ave)
• Facilitators will be David Hall and Elaine Subor, but others may be invited
