The goal of this group is to provide anyone who is interested in Applied Behavior Analysis, the necessary skills to analyze and solve behavioral problems with their beloved feathered fids.
Our focus is to help one another to identify problematic behavior according to observable antecedents and consequences. Through close observation and analysis, negative behavior can be modified through the use of positive reinforcements. Behavior is an observable function based on consequences and the immediate environment.
The ABC's of Applied Behavioral Analysis has three fundamental parameters as follows:
(1) Antecedents predict probable behavior.
(2) Behavior is an observable function.
(3) Consequences correlate to future behavior.
This is a casual behavioral discussion forum where all viewpoints and experiences are welcomed and appreciated. Members will monitor themselves in this group, just remember to respect one another's opinions - and remember to *Agree* to disagree. Notably of course, personal attacks and flaming will not be tolerated.
