This is a list for requesting or posting pictures of ancestors of today's purebred Arabian horses, in JPG or GIF format only. (Please limit to horses born before 1975.)

For those of you looking for ancestors of your horses, feel free to ask about any purebred Arabian horses you might want to see.
To avoid misunderstandings, please try to be specific when requesting a horse. In addition to the registered name of the horses you are looking for, you might want to include the reg # (and country), the sire/dam, the year foaled, or a specific foal of the horse. Or simply mention the name and reg # of the horse whose pedigree you are researching.

For those of you contributing pictures to the list, again, please be be specific. Registered name is a must, and should always be a part of the subject line. Additional info, as above, should also be a part of the post. For the convenience of the list members, please keep the size of the attachments to a reasonable size. I have found that around 50KB is usually quite adequate.
