I wanted a Border Collie list that was primarily
for Australian Border Collie breeders, exhibitors
and enthusiasts. I myself have owned Border
Collies for the past 8 years, not a very long
time, but long enough to know that the Border Collie
is a very special breed that deserves to be well
preserved. I do hope to breed one day and this is
why I have opened this list up to Australians. I
believe Australia breeds the best Border Collies
in the world and therefore I believe that
everyone can benefit from a list where the
experience, advice and discussion from many
breeders (long time and not so long time breeders)
owners and exhibitors will be a mutually
beneficial effect. This list will deal mostly
with showing, breeding and training BC's. It will
include the mailing of show results, litter
announcements, discussions involving the diseases
facing the Border Collie (both hereditary and non-
hereditary). This is a list where flames are not
tolerated and will incur banning.
