Hi All,

I'd like to request that any ideas or suggestions regarding Drew's search be
left by e-mail only please. We do check e-mails a few times during the day.
I am receiving a large volume of calls to my cell phone that are taking
time away from the search as well as tying up the line for a potential caller
with a sighting.
We will continue to send out updates. We just feel the need to ask if
possible, that all calls be limited to volunteers who are calling to find out
where to meet to help with the search.

Thank You for all your thoughts, prayers and ideas. We are still searching
for Drew. We have posted & given out around 6,000
flyers in English/Spanish. We are finding that in some area's they have
been taken down. Whether it's because someone in that area has him - we are
checking on that. We have had the input of multiple animal communicators, had
several bitches in season out there, went door to door, talked to & gave
flyers to mail carriers, phone company workers, city workers, bus drivers,etc.
We have notified the Police, Sheriffs dept, CHP. We have people physically
checking the shelters, and working with animal control officers. We have had
friends stand in front of Schools, Grocery stores, Laundromats, and approach
people on the street as well as cars stopped at signals. We have taken our
other dogs to the parks where he was sighted so they can leave their scent
for him to recognize. We have also left food for him in these parks. There
were lots of B.B.Q's this weekend at the parks so we gave out flyers to these
people in hopes that maybe Drew would smell the food & come around and they
would see him. We have Ads running in 2 papers, and today we signed up for a
service that calls residents in & around our area (petfinders.com).

So as you can see, we are trying many things in an effort to bring Drew back
home where he belongs. This Thursday 9/29 is Drew's 5th Birthday. We want
to spend this special day with him.
