WELCOME to the Austin Herp Society!

After a little over two years of inactivity while we used a forum, this yahoo list is again ACTIVE and will again serve as the primary communications method for members of the Austin Herpetological Society (AHS).

The Austin Herp Society is a group of reptile enthusiasts comprised of hobbyists and professionals. We are dedicated to education, conservation, and legislative issues concerning reptiles, and amphibians. We hold monthly meetings usually on the second Saturday of the month. We also have organized field trips throughout the year.

Not a member of AHS? No problem. You can still join the yahoo list. If you decide you would like to join the society, there is a membership form in the Files section. Just compete the form and follow the instructions at the bottom for submitting the form and payment.

New Yahoo list memberships require approval so there may be a short delay between when you sign-up and when you can post and receive messages.

This list is unmoderated but individual members will be moderated or banned for using crude language, making insulting comments or other inappropriate posts.

You are strongly encouraged to openly discuss all herp related topics.
