This list was created to share information about diets for our birds. There are pet owners, rescue groups, and breeders on the list working together to share our knowledge of avian nutrition.

Although the emphasis on this list is a more natural diet, discussion of pellets and other processed foods does occur.

Topics include species-specific diets, product reviews, sprouting, recipes, and anything else related to the diets of our birds.

The two rules are no "flaming" and you must remain on topic. Violation of either of the rules results in immediate removal from the list and permanent banning.

There are food manuafacturers and dealers on the list who will answer specific questions about their products when asked.
