Our beloved Willem Wijnberg of The Netherlands who singlehandedly paints and creates the artwork for the Willem Wijnberg Cancer Fundraiser held annually. This beloved soul, who is legally blind, creates these art treasures out of the love in his heart for his precious canine companions...and out of his passion to rid the world of canine cancers (a promise he made years ago to one of his dogs as it was dying of cancer). Willem and Truus, his wife, have been going through some real health struggles of late, so continue to hold them in your thoughts and prayers. This is an amazing couple who have dedicated their lives to helping Bernese, Newfies, and other breeds as he works to raise money to find a cure for cancer.
