This list is for people who show their Border Collies in conformation and most members are also breeders. This is a place where Border Collie breeders from around the globe can discuss health issues, genetic factors, the standards, breeding, grooming and show wins, etc. Many of our list members participate in other activities, but there are other lists where those topics can be discussed. We as a list, recognize and wish to preserve the herding instinct of the breed, but we believe this can be done while also breeding for conformation. We are pro-AKC and believe that the Border Collie deserves to be shown in the conformation ring, debate on that issue will be a closed topic on this list. The list assumes we all love and treasure the breed and derogatory remarks about others and/or their dogs will not be tolerated. The use of this list to advertise puppies, stud dogs or adults for sale is prohibited. This list is restricted, you must be sponsored by someone currently on the list and you must agree to the list rules before joining.
