This is a lively and active list dedicated to the Border Collie breed, whether pure or crossbred, and the people who live with them. Subject matter is very open and divergent threads are okay as long as they remain civil and do not diverge too far from the core purpose of the list, which is the love of all sorts of Border Collies. Rescue efforts are welcome, but the list is not here to oppose responsible breeders and the breeding of BC's. Likewise it is not the intention to promote or vilify particular BC registries or groups. The purpose is to provide another forum where issues may be discussed which are not suitable for other BC lists already in operation. Intelligent discussions may be held on various subjects and all can learn. These subjects may include health, behavior, BC activities, rescue, the future of the breed, or why must they sleep in my waterbed - and more importantly, why do I let them. Humor is of course always appreciated, even when only mildly dog related!
