Also check out the different online Forums. BeeSource and BioBees are great sites and ready to help beginners. Also a good place to meet up with people in your area that are into beekeeping.

One thing to remember when you are asking for advice from beekeepers,
If you ask 10 beekeepers the same question you will get 11 different answers...   :)
