The judges selection committee will meeting this Thurday to pick
judges for the March 9009 shows.  If you have any suggestions on who
you would like to see judging at our shows please email me their names
at bockhorn@....  The judge will have to have atleast 2 groups
in order to make it feasible for us to hire them.
We will make every effort to take all names submitted into
consideration when selecting the panel.

Another thought is I am interested in having a couple of people to be
designated as Moderators.  These positions would have a  little bit of
power over the features of the group that only moderators and group
owners are able to do.  Please email me privately if you are
interested.  There isn't really any work involved so don't worry that
you would be taking on alot.

Hi all,

I have several points to raise and I would really like to hear from
all of you regarding these few things.  Either post here or email me
privately with your replies.

The first is it has been brought to my attention that some people
have had trouble with their email after signing up for the group.
Not their Yahoo email but the alternate email.  I am still finding
out the particulars but if anyone else has noticed anything let me
know so I can help clear it up if I can.

Second, we have had a few questions about posting certain things.  I
want a group consensus on if we want to have posts on legislation,
non member lost dog bulletins and stuff like that.  I want to know if
we want to keep the group as BCKC member and info only or anything
dog related?

Thirdly, I want to know if it would bother anyone that when we have
urgent type posts that are off topic, such as the one recently
posted,that once it is not relevant anymore I plan on deleting the
topics.  Is that OK or do people really want to have an archive of
EVERYTHING?

OK please let me know about these things.

I just uploaded the newest issue of the Belle-Ringer that Kathleen just
sent out this weekend.  From now on I will upload the current issue to
the Group when it becomes available.  So now if anyone accidentally
deletes their copy or does not get one it will be available here.  At
this moment I am not sure how long I will leave it available.  Right
now we have plenty of space but as space dwindles I may have to put a
limit on how many months of back issues are available on the group.

You can access the Belle-Ringer by clicking the "Files" link on the
left hand column of any page on the group.

If you are wanting to save space for your friends, we are trying something new this year and allowing you to do so. You will need to bring along a crate for each dog that you are saving space for. We will require you to stack your crates on Wednesday night, just as we make everyone do on Friday.

We are always looking for help in the grooming room on Friday when the exhibitors are coming in to set up. We will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until around 9 p.m. Any amount of time that you can help out that day would be appreciated. It is a great way for potential members to get some hours and also for members to earn some Big Bucks. If you are able to help on Friday please contact me.
