Re: [New here

-Thank you all for your replies. We have decided to see this vet one more time
next week, and if he gives us a hard time, next time her bloodwork is due, we
will see another vet. NOBODY is going to make me vaccinate my dog.

I am going to let my calm, easygoing husband do most of the talking on Tuesday.
I will let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Lily

My best advice is to get to another vet and establish a good relationship with them. Question them about their stand on vaccinating an ill dog. Keep going...

Hi Lily, I would have to agree with Gail. Find a new vet. I was a little surprised at my vet when I took Tasha in for her rabies 1 year booster. When she got...

I just say no. Calmly and nicely, but I just say no. I politely listen to what they have to say, and then I just say no. Over and over again, as many times...

Lily Sorry you are going through this ordeal. As you know, and i don't have to tell you, you are right. Your dog is NOT at risk for rabies. At the same time,...

Lily, Find a vet that is broader thinking. No one can force you to vaccinate and give flea meds. I have been to many vets over the years and most are still...
