Hi, Kelly! It does sound like Bandit has something bothering him on
that side. It may not be serious, given his other "normal" behaviors,
but I suggest it would be worth it to have the vet's input. Horses
are like people and can guard or protect one area of the body, but
left unaddressed, that can lead to other problems. Maybe he just
needs a good massage or chiropractic adjustment?

... You could try checking his ear for ticks, foxtails, infection. Check his eye out as well for occlusion in the lense. I am new so I hope this helps. Happy...
