This is not a legislative issue but thought I would ask if anyone in
this group is interested in belonging to a yet-to-be-formed Rocky
Mountain Holistic Animal Practitioners Group. This would be for anyone
that works professionally with animals in a holistically-oriented
capacity, like animal massage, energy work, communication, nutrition,
etc., including vets, if interested.
This group is being proposed because the Rocky Mountain Holistic
Veterinary Medical Association is closing its group to non-vets, to
better meet the needs of its vet members. While very open to non-vet
practitioners, they have had difficulty getting holistic vets to attend
and decided they need to reform the group and focus on discussing case
studies among vets only. They feel that will meet their needs better.
So the non-vet members could be spun off into a separate group open to
all animal practitioners. If there are any practitioners in this group
that would be interested in participating in such a group, let me know.
