Here is information on the upcoming IAAMB national animal massage &
bodywork conference in September for anyone who is interested (I am
attending). IAAMB (International Association of Animal Massage &
Bodywork) supports the state groups promoting animal owners rights,
such as ours, and disseminates information on the laws in each state
regarding animal massage.

IAAMB 2008 Educational Conference
If you are planning to attend the 5th Annual International
Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork, IAAMB, Educational
Conference, register today. It will be September 4-6, 2008 in Toledo,
Ohio.
Call 800-903-9350 to register. IAAMB member's price - $300.00, non-
member's - $375.00. The Small Animal CPR certification course
scheduled for Thursday, September 4th from 9 AM to noon has an
additional fee of $50.
If you have any questions about or intend to take the test for
National Certification, attend this conference to get the most
current information about it from the test developers. Lola
Michelin, director of NWSAM, will be the sole presenter for the
NBCAAM, National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure &
Massage. Representatives from Hocking College, the institution
administering the testing will be unable to attend.
There are still vendor opportunities for the conference. Monday,
August 18th is the cut-off date. This is also the closing date for
conference program advertising. Vendor and advertising rates are
online at www.iaamb.org. Donations for the silent auction will be
accepted up until the beginning of the conference, September 4th,
2008. If you would like program acknowledgement for your donation,
call us by Monday, August 18th.
