This group is for the rescue of dogs, cats, and critters in the Central Valley--from Bakersfield on up to Sacramento. Also, since there is no SR 99 transport group, this group will be for transports up and down this highway. There is a great need for rescue and transport in this area.

The dog to the right is Daisy, an Australian shepherd mix. She is an adult. Daisy is quiet and kind of keeps to herself at the shelter. If you give her a rawhide treat she throws it up in the air and tries to catch it. Over and over. She also loves car rides If you would like to adopt or rescue Daisy, contact:
