The UNMODERATED version of the CCA members mailing list.

The purpose of this list is to provide a useful, uncensored e-mail list to members, or persons considering membership, to the Collie Club of America. It allows for member discussion, commentary and posting of CCA information. It acts as a broader scope of information sharing than otherwise available on earlier e-mail lists. Since much of the topic of discussion will be political, activistic or potentially heated in nature, anyone not comfortable with these potentials should not subscribe.

Flame wars are encouraged to go to private e-mail channels. However, politics being what they are, heated arguments are expected to erupt. So please do NOT complain about content which is on-topic and the opinion of a poster as being too uncomfortable to read. That is considered whining. If a list member is banned for OFF TOPIC aggression, then there is an appeals process in which they can argue reinstatement to the list membership. Banning and the appeals procedure is the sole purview of the list owner.

It is unofficial and not approved by the CCA, but then neither am I. Subscription is restricted to CCA Members, people curious about the CCA and it's purpose, ethics, values or lack thereof; list members of any other Collie interest e-mail group or list, and persons interested in the *politics* which govern the breed fancy. That may include, from time to time, discussion of issues before the AKC as well as the CCA. There is NO flame retardant in here.

Aliases are unacceptable. Failure to disclose a real name to the list owner upon request will result in termination of your subscription. This is a troll prevention device; not a censorship mechanism. Approval by list owner at this time is "ON" because of spammers and e-mail snipers. It is not a censorship mechanism either.
