CIMDA Support group
(Canine Immune Mediated Disease Awareness)

Set up in conjunction with Jo Tucker, of CIMDA - this group is for people whose dogs have immune mediated disease. Share your experiences, or ask questions of other members. Discuss medical treatments - but most of all support each other on a day to day basis to enable us all to cope better with these difficult diseases. **Please note, if Members of the CIMDA Support Group, choose to act on any information, tips or advice obtained from the group, it is advisable that they should first consult their veterinary surgeon.** CIMDA or any individual member of this group cannot be held responsible for the management or treatment of Members dogs. Opinions posted are generally the opinions of the individual and should be treated as such - we are not vets, nor a substitute for qualified veterinary advice. We expect all members to respect each other's views and opinions - please be polite at all times. Please no virus warnings, advertising. It has been brought to our attention that some members, in the past, have been making unsolicited direct contact with other members, via private email. Some comments made, have offended or upset the recipients, and more worryingly some incorrect advice has been given. This undermines the integrity and purpose of the group. Submissions posted on the group can always be monitored, challenged, confirmed or discussed by other members which is the purpose of a support group. This superb photo is of one of our dearest CIMDA dogs - 6 1/2 yr old CeeCee, cared for by Joanne and Marty - Cee has had Evan's syndrome, and 3 and a half years on, is in remission and on top form.
