The Capital Region of NY Horsewomen connects women who share a passion for equines and a desire to meet other local, kindred spirits! Most reside in the greater areas surrounding Albany, Rensselaer, Troy, Saratoga and Schenectady, NY.

Our members are women with interests in many disciplines - Dressage, English, Western, Driving, Polo; and breeds - from Morgans to Minis to Mules - and everything in between! Some are newcomers to the area, others have been here for years. Our equine experience varies from complete novice to seasoned professional.

Do all members have horses? Some do, some don't - and a few members are simply "Horsewomen at heart!"

Whether you've got horses now or not, there are many wonderful friendships awaiting you here... so join us!

CRNYH Benefits: SOCIALIZE with others who share your passion at one of our semi-regular local gatherings, workshops, impromptu outings, annual BBQ and more; NETWORK to find area vets, farriers, horse sitters, instructors, horses to share/lease, barns & services; PROMOTE your barn, business, artwork, store or rescue; SELL your extra tack & stuff; SHARE NEWS on issues that impact the recreational and professional horse industries.

CRNYH membership requirements are few and easy: Come to an occasional "in person" gathering; RSVP to ON-LINE invitations extended by group members; and contribute to our message board every so often.

FYI: We're definitely NOT an anonymous or impersonal internet "horse" group. We're women who enjoy meeting new people and make the effort to do so! Non-participatory "Lurkers" are strongly discouraged on CRNYH.
