Welcome to Cairn Rescue USA’s rescue worksite. This site is for those who want to work rescue, not just adopt one of our Cairns. No experience is necessary. We are an all-volunteer, 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing purebred Cairn Terriers and mostly-Cairn mixes. We are incorporated in New York, but we rescue Cairns nationwide. We are committed to rescuing as many Cairns as our funding and number of foster homes and volunteers will permit. We welcome all volunteers and it is not necessary that you be a member of CRUSA to volunteer your services, time and/or talents to help Cairns in need! Some jobs require hours, other just a few minutes a day. For the protection of our volunteers, membership in this group is 'restricted,' which means your request to join must be approved by the moderators. We ask that you please submit your full name, address and phone number for identity verification. All information submitted will be kept confidential. List rules will be sent to you upon approval of your membership (and then to the list monthly). They include common courtesy, respect for the views of others, no flaming of members or other groups, no spam, and no PETA posts. All posted messages must be signed with your name.
