We are here to discuss the use of Calcitriol as a treatment and prevention of feline hyperparathyroidism secondary to kidney failure as well as a treatment for hypoparathyroidism. Most of the cats in this group have secondary hyperparathyroidism and renal failure. 

Ditto, my beloved Angel cat, was treated with Calcitriol for both hyperparathyroidism and then hypoparathyroidism after thyroid removal.  Results were life saving and gave me additional precious time on earth with her.
