This is a support group for members of Canine Health Concern (CHC). CHC is, however, not just another discussion group. Members do more than discuss issues on the internet.

CHC was founded in 1994 and it has been at the forefront of the natural rearding movement worldwide - from the very beginning. CHC was formed before the internet became a resource for dog lovers.

Initially the organisation's aim was to research the cause of ill health in modern dogs, and to share that information with dog lovers. It evolved, through necessity, into a campaigning group to end over-vaccination and promote natural feeding and complementary therapies for dogs.

CHC members actively share information with government, pet owners and veterinarians to give dogs a better chance at health. CHC members are active, and drive change forward.

This discussion group is for members of CHC who want a safe place to share information about natural healthcare for dogs. It is a support group, and its ethos is kindness and friendship. Our only rule is that we are kind to one-another.

If you would like to become a member of Canine Health Concern, and help to spread the word to dog lovers who may, or may not, have internet access, we'd be delighted to welcome and support you.

Membership of CHC is £16 a year, and you will receive a quarterly newsletter (printed or via email) and a monthly email bulletin. If you can't spare £16 a year but would just like to join a discussion group to discuss these issues, CHC members run the Compk9 yahoo list which is open to non-CHC-members.

To be clear: you are not paying a fee to join this discussion group. Your fee is in exchange for membership of CHC - which has a discussion group to support members. CHC members love all dogs, and aim to help all dogs.
