Carting-L is a discussion group for folks who are interested in carting with their dogs. Some of our members are involved in recreational and competitive draft carting. Others drive their dogs hitched to sulkies or carriages, or scooter with their dogs. There is a wealth of experience amongst the folks here, and they're glad to share information with newcomers to the sport.

Discussions about health, socialization, and training in relation to carting abilities are welcome. This discussion group is intended to be a positive environment to discuss our dogs.

WHAT Carting-L IS NOT:

Discussion is welcome - flaming and personal attacks are not permitted. Members should not use the list to generate arguments, however, mannerly debates are welcome. It's not a "my cart is better than your cart" list. Participants may disagree on things from time to time, but are expected to keep posts on-topic and impersonal. The list-owners will step in if things get out of hand. List-owners reserve the right to unsubscribe members who violate the guidelines.

This list may not be used to promote the breeding, sale, or transport of any dogs. Any person who appears to be using this list to sell or broker dogs is not welcome and will be removed from the list immediately. Anyone who appears to promote cruelty or irresponsible breeding will also be removed.

Carting-L is not the appropriate place for general discussions on animal rights, PETA, religion, or any other activity not directly related to the sport of carting. It is also not the place for discussions on the morality of hunting, showing, breeding, exhibiting, working or owning domesticated dogs in general.
