Hello dear subscribers and fellow cat lovers!

Welcome to new subscribers!  Hurricane Ivan knocked my power out last Thursday morning and there will be no newsletter today.  We are fine otherwise, except for a few frayed nerves and lost food in the refrigerator and freezer, a small price to pay compared to the poor people devastated on the Gulf Coast.  Fortunately the winds stayed around 60 mph in my area, which was less than expected. I had about 9-3/4 inches of rain on Thursday.  Power came back on late yesterday, but not in time to prepare Cat Tails and meet a client deadline tomorrow. 

I had already planned to not publish next week due to a special weekend fundraiser for needy kitties, so it will be two weeks until the next issue.

In the meantime, maybe a couple of cute pictures will make you smile.
