Hi everyone,

A reminder (or announcement) you are invited to a Clicker Get Together
at my place in Carmel Valley, CA on Saturday July 11. We will start
around 11 AM and meet each other, play for a while, and share
information about Clicker Training horses with anyone new to the
method and philosophy who is interested to learn more.

You are welcome to bring your horse, if the horse is comfortable
travelling and will be able to focus and learn, then load up to go
home. Anxious loaders and haulers should work on their skills at home
and come another day. :) I have up to seven stalls with runs and stall
guards available.

I will send you the address and directions privately when I hear from
you.

There is no charge for stall space or to participate. I would be
grateful, though, if you would muck out the stall at the end of the
day. :)

Please bring your own clicker, treats, targets and toys, as well as
any feed you want your horse to have during that time. We have water
barrels in each stall/run. Also, please bring any refreshments for
yourself. Dress in layers, bring sunscreen/sun hat/sun glasses and a
portable chair. We are 10 miles from the ocean and we often get an
on-shore breeze that makes it cooler than many spots in California
this time of year.

Feel free to bring any books, articles, videos or dvds and any other
information related to clicker training you wish to share.

If this gathering goes well, I hope to arrange another one in August,
and possibly September.

Don't forget, we are holding an Intermediate Clinic with Alexandra
Kurland at this same location October 23-25. Contact me if you would
like to participate without a horse, or to add your name to a waiting
list as a horse participant. Anyone knew to Clicker training will get
more from the Alex clinic if you come to one or more of these
get-togethers ahead of time.
