Hi Kay,

I live in BC Canada and have 3 donkeys. I also taught my gelding to target my
hand and he'll come to me and walk beside me now whenever he sees my
outstretched hand.
If he tries to grab at it, I lower it and now he has learned not to. At first,
I clicked and rewarded him for touching my hand but now, I lead him to wherever
we are going, ask for "whoa" and then CT. So he knows he has to keep following
my hand before he gets his treat. I don't have to keep my arm outstretched
anymore either.
