Thanks for everyones help with this little deaf husky. Northern Lights sleddog rescue in Indiana is going to take both her and another husky the shelter got in. They have someone coming thru Joplin and they are going to pick both of them up tommorrow. There is also a 10-12 week old husky in the puppy room I have asked them to look at and hopefully take as well. Sandi

Hello Linda,
A post has been added to the Colorado Deaf Dog yahoo group. I am not a rescue, but do my best to get these guys rescued. My website is undergoing some updates and I haven't had much luck getting the new dogs on. She is, however, known to the Colorado group and I believe she has been posted on the deaf-dog-rescue yahoo group as well.

Hi Judy, This is the deaf Husky at the Joplin Humane society I told you about. Dee who is the manager asked me if I could help her get her in to rescue. She doesnt stand much of a chance of being adopted there in Joplin. She isn't a senior dog, has a sweet temperment and is deaf. My cell phone is 417-483-4064 and my email is sandihughey@.... Dee is the manager at the shelter and her number is 417-623-3642. You can also ask for Shannon if you call the shelter. Thanks for your help. Sandi (417) 483-4064 sandihughey@... (at hotmail.com)
