This group is for rescuers in Connecticut to post about dogs & cats and other pets (ie birds, bunnies etc.) in need. Please feel free to post about dogs, cats and others that need to be pulled from area shelters, dogs, cats and others that need foster homes, dogs, cats and others that are in need of permanent homes. Transports and other rescue related matters may be posted as well. This list may also be used to post any rescue related adoption events or fundraisers. This list is also for SUPPORT and ADVICE to rescuers and anyone that has rescued a pet. Please feel free to post about your success stories as well!!! Feel free to post about folks looking for a particular type of pet and also about people that need to surrender their pet for whatever reason. CROSSPOSTING from the list is NOT allowed EXCEPT with the CONSENT of the poster. If the poster DOES NOT state in his letter that the letter MAY be crossposted then DO NOT crosspost. Crossposting from other lists is fine as long as it is permissable to cross post from that list. The data base will be set up for members of this list so they may list DNA's on as long as there is a valid reason and that reason must be listed in the database.
