I recommend wearing bright orange.  There are thousands of deer hunters out all
week in the region - many in and around Crex Meadows.  Please don't let that
stop you from going out there, but, if there is a vehicle already parked along
the roadside, please don't go off the road there - there will be a hunter out in
the field or woods somewhere and it is respectful to give them their space.

Thanks!

Kim

My son enjoys geo caching and I recently learned there are a few geo caches at
Crex. I thought it would be a fun way to introduce him to Crex Meadows and a fun
thing to do when he is home for Thanksgiving. Then I remembered it's deer
hunting season. Is it safe to be out and about at Crex this time of year?
