This list is for people interested in customizing, repainting, and remodeling model horses, such as Breyer, Reeves, Stone, and others. It is open to people who actively do customizing or who are interested in learning how to do it, or who simply admire it and enjoy reading and discussing the hobby. The list is broad enough to include equine art topics in general (sculpture, two-dimensional work), breeds and color types (with a focus on its relationship to rendering coat patterns, coloration and conformation accurately in the model horse (or in other types of equine art). Wanted to buy, sales, and trade lists are acceptd, as well as auction listings from Ebay and Amazon. Condition codes from the Model Horse Trader will be used as guidelines to designate a model's condition. Horse-related items, such as model horse tack and props, are welcome also for discussion, including making, as well as buying, selling, and trading. Keep in mind that the main intent of the list is equine art and creation of custom model horses, however. Please do not use stationery, and if possible please don't use "Rich Text" format to decrease the possibilty of subscribers having difficulty reading messages. Graphic attachments are welcome (custom work, works in progress, works for sale, color photos of horse coloration and patterns, etc.), but again keep in mind that some attachments may cause problems for some browsers so not all members might be able to view them).
