If you know of openings in foster homes, a shelter closing, a puppy mill raid, or any other circumstance that can aid in matching up homeless pets with caretakers, please post that information here. Please try to respect the geographical focus of this list.

Please note that any placement of animals in foster or permanent homes is the responsibility of the person removing an animal from a situation; the standards of spaying/neutering the animal before release, giving appropriate medical care, food, and housing, and performing reference checks and house checks are expected.
