DFWdogShelterPost is an e-mail exchange list for the posting of dogs in need of rescue in the greater "North Central" area of Texas. This area's center will be the Dallas / Fort Worth area but also will contain postings from shelters within driving distance (app. 300-600 miles) of the metroplex.

Member Requirements: must be a member of an animal control unit, animal humane organization, a dog/cat rescue group member, or a member of a dog/cat transportation. References Checked. Profesional Conduct Required.

This is a list to post "Dogs in need of Rescue" or to post that arrangements have been made to rescue a dog posted.

Because of the many dogs in need of rescue, this will not be a chat group. This is not a list to post cute stories or jokes on.

This is a list to post a simple description of dogs available, there size, age, color, possible breed or combination of breeds, personality, location of the dogs, run or cage number, ID number, e-mail address of contact: name, address, or driving directions to shelter.

ALWAYS INCLUDE IN THE SUBJECT LINE: Shelter Location, Breed ID Type Mix, MALE or Female, Spay ...ect. ID NUMBER

PLEASE, HELP the DOGS by posting information about the dogs, without additional chat.

This list should be for the Greater DFW Area of Noerth Cenral Texas, but will include the whole state of Texas, and adjoining states.

We should be able to find more dogs in need of rescue, without sorting through lengthy chat, flames, SPAM etc.

This new list should be ideal QUICK REFERENCE for all PURE BREED rescues &
those who will rescue breed MIXES that have strong breed identity.
