Rescue transport help is needed on Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12, 2009, for Anya and Joseph, two Anatolian Shepherd dogs traveling from boarding after shelter rescue in TX to their foster and adoptive homes (approved, home visits completed) in Kingman, AZ and Bozeman, MT. If you can assist with a portion of this transport, please contact Beth Goldowitz, Transport Coordinator, National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network, www.nasrn.com, at goldowitz@... (hamilton.net), 608.753.2456 CDT.
Anya was in a kill shelter, and NASRN pulled her out of there. Although scared by everything that's happened, she responds well to gentle attention and is very grateful for any kindness. Thankfully, life is looking up for this poor dog; we just need to help her reach her new home in Bozeman, MT. Anya is sweet, though a bit shy and traumatized by what's happened to her. She is spayed, 1-2 yrs old, approx 100 lbs, healthy and UTD on shots. You can see beautiful Anya here:

Joseph also landed in a kill shelter, and NASRN saved him from there. Now he has a chance for a happy life, with a loving foster home waiting in AZ where he can stay until he finds his forever home. Joseph is very friendly, male, and approx 6 months old. He will be neutered after reaching foster care. He is healthy and UTD on shots. You can see this cute little guy here:

Both Anya and Joseph will travel with their own collars, leashes and vet paperwork. They will not travel with crates, but can ride tethered in a back seat or cargo area.
