assitance in getting Oliver and Nell from their temp foster home/Shelter
to their long term foster homes.

Not much information has come to us about Nell yet.  All we really know
is that she is a small english setter girl.  Once we get more

More About Gypsy - URGENT!!

Gypsy's owner thought she was dumb... believe me...she is not dumb. He brought her here in the back of a pickup truck and she fell out. She got a big gash on her front leg. She is at the vet right now being treated. She is approx. 4 years old and spayed. A very sweet dog. She seems very well behaved and loves attention. Gypsy does need a home without other dogs though. Update: Gypsy's leg is all healed and looks fine now. Please help her!!

Gypsy-URGENT is spayed/neutered.

We have one dog in particular in Franklin, KY (Simpson County) who is in desperate need. His name is Jasper. He's a 2 year old Aussie/Border Collie mix. He's a beautiful boy. Jasper is already neutered, current on all his vaccinations, housebroken, good with cats, other dogs and children. He's another owner turn-in. They moved to a house without a fence and he "kept running off". I guess they couldn't figure out the meaning of "leash" and "taking him for a walk". GGGRRRRR!! Anyway, Simpson County is small and very limited...he' s in danger of being pts.

If you can crosspost him or have any contacts that might be interested in him, we believe he'd be a great dog worth saving. We've put out everything we can and so far Ashli (Friends of the Shelter) hasn't gotten much interest and his time is running short.

We have 15 dogs that were are taking north, now.

, so thee isn't a lot of space left. We have room for two more crates--maybe 3 depending on size..on the way North and plenty of time.
So far we have room for 8 crates on the trip back to Chicago and South.. beginning Wednesday Pm--11/09

assitance in getting Oliver and Nell from their temp foster home/Shelter
to their long term foster homes.

Not much information has come to us about Nell yet.  All we really know
is that she is a small english setter girl.  Once we get more
information

Nellie is a strong, sassy, smart Staffie mix. She is also deaf, but you will hardly notice,because she reads body language and facial expressions almost as well as she reads signs. Look at her with love and her tail will wiggle and wag. Scowl at her and she will stop doing whatever she is doing.

Nellie came to Deaf Paws Haven a long while ago with her best friend, Fuji. Fuji was adopted by Peggy, who then moved to Nebraska. Nellie was adopted to be a companion dog to a wheelchair-bound woman, but was too strong for the woman to work with easily, although she was plenty smart enough. So Nellie came back to Deaf Paws Haven. When Peggy learned about this, she thought it would be a great idea to get Nellie and Fuji back together again.

Won’t you help unite these two doggie friends in Nebraska? This is truly a meant-to-be transport.
