Ancient horses from Spain and gentle Portugal are born of the High Wind, very far in the south, where the Sun immanent, created from the Earth the fleeing images which enrapture our souls. The power of his genes has gracefully stamped (with it’s rounder movements a regal aplomb) all our modern champions from Flanders to Holstein, while blessing with his name the great School of Vienna. In a day of battle or a night of bullfight, the valiant horse from Spain and gentle Portugal proves his allegiance as he knows how to serve, remaining the perfect image of dignity. He is a horse so strong that he helps win our wars, yet he is so handsome as to seduce women. He is a horse so sweet that children play with him. For him my heart quickens and my soul elevates, lifted by his noblesse to an ethereal height of limpid clarity. He looks like a picture and plays as a violin that ignores all limits for a friend of talent.
