This group was started by Eric Lundquist of Dog Star Training systems EXCLUSIVELY to discuss E-Collar training methods. All are welcome from the very experienced to those with little or no experience.
A group such as this is only as good as the members make it. Success is measured by the quality of information offered, not by the numbers of members or the number of posts. REMEMBER this is your group, make it a GREAT one!

If you are opposed to E-collar training, want to push different methods, or want to cause problems - this group IS NOT for you! While only lightly moderated, if things get off topic or if trollers or spammers appear, they will QUICKLY be put on moderated status.

In order to prevent spammers and flame wars from taking over our list we have a STRICT rule that all members must send an introductory post including their first and last names and the city and state (or province) where they live to the group at EDogTraining@yahoogroups.com ALL POSTS including your email to subscribe must include both names and location. Applications without both names and location will not be approved. Additionally, ALL NEW MEMBERS should read the group rules and state in your intro that you have read them and agree to abide by them. Sorry, no exceptions and if you are not willing to accept this rule don't register for the list.

Heated debate is fine, instigating arguments and rude comments will not be tolerated!
If you are against any use of aversives this group is NOT for you. BUT... If you combine "clicker" or other methods and E-Training and want to discuss it and learn more this group is a great place for you.
