Description

Welcome to the National Entlebucher Mountain Dog Association (NEMDA) e-group for Entlebucher owners, breeders and friends. The EntleGroup is designed for the sharing of information, stories, personal contacts and pictures among the owners of Entlebucher Cattle Dogs, but please no puppy/dog sale advertising or kennel promotion. We will also be discussing NEMDA issues, rescue dogs, club activities and upcoming events. Messages should be EMD-related. If sending an image, please consider that some subscribers (and this eGroup) have limited computer resources; please limit images (e.g., postings, videos and photos) to 100kb or less (no matter how cute your Entle). Participants shall not defame other participants, dog clubs, members, breeders, exhibitors or their dogs. In addition to supporting this eGroup, NEMDA supports its members through research into genetic disease of the Entlebucher, training help, rescue, rehoming and fun activities and of course a great quarterly newsletter. We also host many Entle Days and EntleFest (annual Specialty) all over North America so please go to the NEMDA website at http://www.nemda.org to join and for more information!

Photo: Explorer B’Elana v. Eagleheart (Bayla). Bayla debuted in AKC Advanced Rally-Obedience, July 19. Bayla's mom, Joyce MacKay, adds “Advanced is all off leash and we were excited to get out there and show our teamwork. Well, maybe Bay started out a little too excited J! A standard bar jump was the #2 sign/obstacle which got her really pumped, like we might be doing agility. The biggest challenge was that the #3 sign was “slow”... a drastic change in pace & rhythm after jumping. Bay sure let me know “slow” isn’t a favorite in her repertoire, she raced out in front of me, turned, spun, play bowed & barked at me... Once she settled into the task being obedience, we worked really well together- had a blast and qualified, also taking first place with a score of 89!
