My 25 year old mare foaled 2 days ago, no problems. Cleaned out right away,
noticed no problems. Gave 2 cc oxytocin post foaling. Went to feed this am and
she seems to want to lay down quite alot and I noticed the discharge.......very
sticky, muscousy.....as my usual protocol, gave her 2 more cc's of
oxytocin.......should I be worried, and get the vet out?? Baby is doing
fine.........Cindy Moore
