I'm curious to know if there were other antibiotics to which the
pathogen was found sensitive in the sensitivity test. Naxcel is not the
cheapest drug, and simple (nd cheap) old penicillin is often the drug of
sensitivity choice with beta haemolytic strep.

No... as noted in my previous e-mail, confirming that the organism found
is truly pathogenic in nature is the most important thing. What did the
cytology show? If it's just a contaminant, throwing all kinds of
heavy-duty antibiotics into the uterus may open up a possibility of some
most unpleasant sequela...
