HALLOWEEN REMINDER
We will be holding adoptions this weekend at the Woodbridge PetSmart located on Worth Avenue near Potomac Mills mall from 12pm to 6pm. However, due to the holiday any animals adopted will not be placed into their forever homes until the following day, November 1st. Halloween can frighten any animal with doors opening and closing, new faces and the temptation of "treats". Visit the ASPCA's website for more helpful tips this Halloween.
DONATIONS
In addition to the supplies listed below, we are also asking for monetary
donations. We had several animals that were treated by local emergency vets
(quite costly) for smoke inhalation in the days after the fire. We will accept donations at PetSmart on Worth Avenue in Woodbridge, VA on Saturdays. We are typically there from 12pm to about 6pm.
Items needed are:
PetSmart gift cards (since our animals have been displaced, gift cards will allow us to have the babies bathed on adoption day!) Blankets
Towels
Sheets
Stainless steel bowls
Flea topical for dogs and cats (Frontline Plus, Advantix, etc. as products sold
in the stores are NOT safe for animals contrary to popular belief)
Paper towels
Large trash bags
Disposable gloves
Dog and cat food (both wet and dry)
Kennels/Crates
Monetary donations may be brought to the store or mailed to:
