Ferrets Across America

Ferrets Across America is a national organization dedicated to the transport of ferrets in need. Our organization consists of members located all over the United States who generously volunteer their time to transporting rescue ferrets.
Our main focus is shelter rescue ferrets...transporting from shelters to forever homes, shelters to foster homes, and shelter to shelter transfers. We also offer adoption placement assistance to individuals (and shelters) that may need it, as well as offering home visits to aid shelter operators in screening potential homes. We also assist other breed rescues with their transports when we are able to.
Volunteers are always needed, so please join if you haven't already! All volunteers are screened, and transport requests are checked out thoroughly before being approved. This is an open forum, but please keep the topics ferret/ferret transport and ferret rescue related, please.

** We do not transport breeder kits (or ferrets for sale) unless the ferret is legitimately being "adopted", not sold (ie, a rescue or retired breeder)
** Ferrets must meet our transport requirements.
** We do not transport ferrets into FFZ's (ferret free zones...areas where ferrets are illegal)
