Five_State_Rescue (Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina) alliance - to be used by rescuers, rescue groups, fosters, transporters, and shelters. The goal of Five State Rescue group is to connect and unite rescue workers of the five states into a regional cooperative network, with membership restricted to those who primarily do most of their rescue efforts in those states. Some exceptions are being made, allowing persons residing outside the 5 states to join - primarily breed specific rescues and transport coordinators. Members outside the 5 states and in some cases new members will intitially be on moderated status.

Note: This is not intended to exclude helping non-member rescue workers who need help in the 5 states with shelter pulls, transport, temporary foster, etc.

POSTING: Only members may post to the board. Cross-posts are welcome if they pertain to rescue, transport, etc. involving one of the five states.(Puppymill rescues are an exception - please crosspost from anywhere at anytime!) Please limit off-topic posts. A high percentage of our members currently have chosen "individual emails".
